Free Steam Games Based on Video Cards

This offer has been around for a while now but it didn't seem anyone brought it up in the Steam section.

Basically, Steam is offering some free games or exclusive demos that is based on your GPU manufacturer (that being nVidia or ATI).

http://www.steampowered.com/nvidia/
Having a nVidia chipset gives you access to HL2: Deathmatch, HL2: Lost Coast, and Portal: First Slice (demo).

http://www.steampowered.com/ati_offer1a/
Having an ATI chipset gives you access to only HL2: Deathmatch and HL2: Lost Coast. Portal: First Slice is NOT included.

So for those who have Steam accounts or have yet to create one, here are some free games to kill some time with. The games are then registered to your Steam account. I don't know if they are hardware locking so you might be able to make multiple accounts.

Enjoy.
