Announcement Acv Editing gets patched next patch.

Hi,
Last patch kau added something which makes it impossible to edit the new script acv. If you do edit it with hex editor your game will crash. So people prepare for a Beatuphack/storyhack/oldsong/chancehack/couplehack/AnyACVhack free game.

I'm actually glad this happens because ppl kept posting this stuff. Now the leechers won't have anything to use anymore =)

Well, that's what I wanted to say ^^
(Btw: if you get a new acv tool it prolly will work so people IF you get one Don't, I repeat, DON'T Release it.

Well, I use hacks for fun [not in public or anything] but just to help friends and whatnot. It doesn`t bother me that everyone will have to play legitly. Except, I`m pretty sure some people will be a bit pissed off about it because when that time comes, they have no skill and no hacks. Some people do have skills even without the hacks, but, most people don`t [no offense]. Oh, I believe that anyone can release it if they want, since it`s really just their choice. Unless, they didn`t make it and claim it as theirs. I just hate non-original people.

Well I made those hacks too... But for fun. I can get a x10 legitly if I want. I made the story hack to gain exp really fast. or I changed the songlist. I'm sure that if people didn't release acv_tools or ways how to edit 045.acv it would still be easy for me =/

I made a beatuphack. But I only used it a few times for fun. Not even in BeatupBp

Actually, if you can`t edit .acv files, you can`t use the hacks. Meaning it will be unavailable, and you have to play legitly.

acv tools should be released to acv pro editors.... so tat they can edit acvs like story hack for instance wif the new tool.

I should've asked the creator not to release the acv tool in public rofl. but only send it to some people he trusts. o-o He made me the first acv_tool. He wanted to have one because he wanted to unpack background file. He was making some programs like an FM trainer. He only made a acv_decompresser. I asked him if he could make a tool which did both and I got the first version. Then he released it on ragezone and more people got it. Now it's getting released everywhere...

That's good news I guess. :)
Only problem now is that I can't get my retired songs and custom lobby music. ;~; Hopefully I can find a way around it. :P

This sounds like good and bad news to me.

Good news is that the acv editing phenomenon is finally going to be over. After the patch, everyone,including hackers, gonna start frm scratch and will be playing base of their own skills w/o having to suspect whether a person is using chance hack or not.

Bad news is no more story hack T.T lol

Ouch, sorry to burst your bubbles guys. But AAU and KAU are completely different in the sense that the companies that run them are different entities.
If they did truly work together, we'd have better songs as a song license would cover all Audition versions and not just one.
If the new KAU acv's cannot be edited then how will Nexon open it up to see what they've done to edit it?
And also because Nexon is so so so behind KAU, I'm betting it will be another decade until we see this implemented.
You are all happy about chance hack and story hack being patched...
Just don't release them in the first place lol.
