Hello Dancers!
The time has come to put on your hippest outfits and show the world what you're made of... by participating in the official Audition DANCE OFF! Show us what you've got by recording a 90-second clip of yourself busting a move to your favorite Redbana Audition song. And who knows, maybe you'll become an overnight sensation! We’ll be accepting and judging videos through the end of the month, with winners announced sometime during the first week of August. As you’ve come to expect, we’re going to hook up the best dancer’s with some awesome prizes, including a personalized iPod Shuffle! So get shakin'!
Rules:
- Submitted videos are limited to 90 seconds of taped dancing via webcam, camcorder, or other similar device.
- Submissions must include your in-game name along with a date of when you performed either on a piece of paper or announced out loud
IN THE VIDEO CLIP.
- Only one dancer may be present in the submitted video.
- Dancers must be wearing family appropriate attire, though you’re encouraged to draw inspiration from your Audition avatars.
- Songs included in video clips must be featured in the Redbana Audition game.
- Only one video submission per contestant.
Submissions:
The easiest way to submit your video is to post it on YouTube and reply to this thread with a direct link. You can even embed it in your response post!
Dates:
Submissions will be accepted from July 9th, 2009 up until July 31st, 2009 midnight.
Judging Criteria:
We will be judging based on three main criteria:
Choreography: You will be judged on how passionate and exciting the performance is while linking it to Audition moves!
Costume: You will be judged on how fashion-forward and creative your outfits are. Try to draw inspiration from avatars (post a screenshot of your avatar in this thread, too)!
Overall Originality: You will be judged on your uniqueness, so infuse your performance with your personality and creativity. Anyone can copy some dance moves, but you have to stand out from the crowd if you want to be a real Super Star!
Prizes:
The
Top 10 submissions will be broadcast via the official Audition social networking sites (including our YouTube channel!), while the first place video will be shown on the home page of the main Audition site.
In addition to your online fame, the
Top 3 submissions will get the following prizes:
First Prize -
iPod Shuffle, custom engraved with your Audition in-game name! AND $50 Bana Cash!
Second Prize - $25 Bana Cash!
Third Prize - $10 Bana Cash!
