This tool allows you to open double protected acv files. However, users are only limited to the extract function. Which means, you are NOT ALLOWED to pack the files back into the acv files.
Also, this tool only works for the unprotected acvs and level one encryption double protected acvs. Depending on how the situation proceeds, the level 2 encryption double protected acv extract function may be released to the public.
The purpose of releasing this tool is to lighten the burden on the forum's extractors, giving them more time to carry on their own projects and stuff, not for the abuse of this extractor.

You need to use the command prompt to use this tool.
To extract the acv files, the instructions are as follows:
Extract the RAR file to the desktop.
Go to start, click on "Run" and type in cmd.exe before hitting enter. A command prompt will pop up.
Type in "cd desktop" **
Type in "acv -d (acvFileName) (FolderName)" without the quotes. Eg. "acv -d 001.acv dec001", without the quotes again.
If this only can unpack file , cant pack back to acv file , then what for edit
Firstly, it says extractor.
Secondly, we don't want a mass number of file editors to appear out of nowhere, things like story hacks and stuff.
Thirdly, its a private tool, if you don't want it, then just leave it.
I have already said, it's to help lighten the burden on the unpackers, not to allow the public to edit acv files.
haha u forget to give out the command to patch back @_@
lets just keep it private !^^
and ur instructions shouldn't be so clear ,
its for them to find out , for us to know ^^!
should say its easy to pack back !

This unpack can help you to know which files are stored on every ACV file. Packing them again requires to use a simple hex editor (and discover the patron, of course) which anyone can learn it by scripts tutorials. Or better yet, you can use QuickBMS and C++ commands to know every data means.
Edit: there, I found something.
First the 061.acv with this tool unpacked 2948 files, and if you open this one with any hex editor (in my case, the HxD) you'll see this:
3D 00 01 FF 84 0B 00 00 etc etc etc xD (Hexadecimal numbers are every 2 or 4 pairs, depending of its size range)
Some numbers might be read opposite than they represent, for example 84 0B 00 00 is 00 00 0B 84 and B84 (zeros on left side means nothing) is 2948 in hexadecimal.
So this is it, the second number with long range (4 bytes) means the number of files they are stored. I'm telling you this because you can learn how to unpack and pack without need of an acv_tool. Also, some files cannot be unpacked with this, but they have a similar patron. For example the file 048.acv cannot unpack, but I'm mostly sure that it has 85 files, and some files stored are: ÀÚ»óÀǼ¼Æ®_000.rgm, ³²ÀÚ¼¼Æ®_000.rgm, ³²ÀÚ¼¼Æ®Áßa0493.rgm, ³²ÀÚ¼¼Æ®Áßa0493_a.dds, ³²ÀÚ¼¼Æ®Áßa0493_c.dds, ³²ÀÚ¼¼Æ®Áßa0493_d.dds, ²ÀÚ¼¼Æ®Áßa0493_e.dds, ³²ÀÚ¼¼Æ®Áßa0545.rgm, etc.
I just need someone who has a new acv_tool to confirm if the numbers of files are right.
no, basically , RP-34 modified the unpacker and edited away the packing back command to make sure you guys only can extract and see whats inside the file ,
