How do you change lobby songs

I have tried changing obby songs myself, the only thing is that once the game starts, it just shows " (null) " and my song isn't played. I got the correct strings and music names but it just cant play. I need some advice here, thanks.

Hi,

i'm new here thou but i can help you with this. In order for u to change the lobby songs, u need to check on a few files. not all songs can be placed in the lobby as they needed to be linked in some ways.
1st - u change the lobby songs in 021.acv look for the music codes. E.G k0001.tbm
2nd - check sequence for example k0001.tbm (songname) is on string number 1 in the song_list file, it is equvilent to the file under C:\Program Files\AuditionSEA\AuditionSEA\data\thd.000 [ this 2 files (song_list in 021.acv and thd.000) must link and not forgetting the abm folder must have this song code k0001.tbm in order for yr songs to be played).
3rd - try this step. u try ripping off another Version of Audition(KAU or EU) check the song list and copy the song name to yr AuditionSEA songlist in 021.acv on string number 1 (equivalent to thd.000). if u add to string number 2 the thd file will be thd.001 and so on.
after that copy the thd file to yr audisea folder and not forgetting the song file to abm folder. lastly log in and try the lobby songs. this is the whole process as it is quite tedious because if the thd.000 file is not tally with the songlist listed in the 021.acv or song file not in the abm folder, it will show (null).

i'm now actually looking for the software program that allows me to make thd and tbm files which i have totally no idea how to create that. if u have that software, u can basically put in any songs you want!! =D so people if you have that software... list down here.. i'm will be gladly do the converting and post them in here for you guys to download!
and not forgetting on the old songs.. i tried to change here and there but never seems to be able to allow the old songs playable. gave me an impression that they del the files from their server or reedit some music codes. Check on the 6043 patch. audition songs that having problems with the old songs like broken love, OMG, etc song codes have been replaced with a new 1 set which after the patch able to play but not the old songs... So after typing so much.. any1 cares to give me some suggestions? it might juz spark my mind and able to get back the old song list.. heehee...

Thanks, could you give me more examples for the strings, i don't fully understand that part. Thanks also, i may need help in extracting the thd.(000~0xx) files.

here's something that might help u:



to get the song to works as lobby song u need to match the song properly with the thd file that u get from other audition. let's say the above list is taken from kau's. so the num 3 song is audition - love mode. which means the matching thd file is thd.000. for the num 4 song in the list is younha - password 486. which also means the thd file for it is thd.001 and so on till the last song of the list. this simply means that u need to copy the whole thd files (thd.000~thd.020) from kau's data folder into ur own audition's folder in order for this song list to works. also note that changing the order of the song_list would means that u need to rename the thd file to the matching position as in the list too else it will becomes null. hope that helps.

Is there anyway we can edit the files ourselves? The thd files, i want to choose my own songs, is it possible?
