Tutorial Getting hacks to work on Vista.

I've heard a lot of people say things like, Vista is crap, and there are no hacks that work with Vista. But you're wrong.

Now, I apologize if there's another tutorial around. I did search and found nothing, however my keywords could've been wrong.

When I refer to Perwin, im using Quixx's hack. This may be named differently in other hacks.

Okay.

PART ONE.

First; download the hack you're planning on using.

Second; Extract it using winrar, to somewhere you'll find it. (I use desktop)

Okay, there should be two things that you need to open.
(Perwin and the hack) which should be named something like this.
If you can't find the two things you need to open inorder to hack, then you shouldn't be hacking.

Just make sure you know where they are, before carrying on with the tutorial.

PART TWO.
We'll start with Perwin.

First; Right click on Perwin.

Second; Click Properties.

Third; Click the 'Compatibility' tab.

Fourth; Check the box 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:'

Fifth; Choose Windows XP in the dropdown menu. (It says 'Windows XP (Sevice Pack 2) on my computer).

Sixth; Check the box 'Run this program as an administrator'.

Seventh; Click Apply.

Eighth; (Ive never seen Eighth written down, it looks strange). - Repeat this for the other program, the hack.

i guess we should have made a thread like u did but me and a few others have tried to explain this in the actual hack threads.. some ppl are to lazy to look back through and find the help they need... props on the thread... good lookin

I have done, too, a couple of times.
But i've found not many people read the comments.
I thought if there was a thread just what someone was looking for, they'd be drawn to it.

Thnx. ^^ I had hacks working on Vista a different way... But until I got a virus and had to recover my laptop, lol... Thnx anyways. ^^

Do they still work?

I always found it easier just to right click and hit "Run as administrator" on any program that doesn't work

Even the internet at times.....

I don't think its neccessary to go through all that, rather just right click your icon and run it as administrator

It takes literally 5 seconds, to do this tutorial.

This will also work with games, and things that were made before Vista was released, the compatibility tab was there for a reason, some people just don't know about it.
