While waiting on the download, i desided to do some research into the security measures put into the game. Well its rather sad, i must admit.
For being a game done by EA, they seemed to have put little emphasis on cheat security. They are using PunkBuster (which we all know is about secure as having a blind guy guarding the president.). I was also suprised to see that within about a months time, 6 hacks have been released for the game that alters everything from the sky color, to the ease of aim. It appears that if we wanted to do so, we could almost code in a whole new class into the entire program and use it! (ok, thats over exageration.)
The point here is, this game may be TOO easy to hack, in all honesty i hope they do tighten up the security at least a bit so we don't have EVERY joe schmo out there hacking in this game.

Yeah I know, I've found at least 2-3 hackers every time I play the game, they really need to increase the security level
actually punkbuster right now is not turned on. infact pb might be the most secure anti cheat system ever. even if u dont update ur pb clien u can still be banned. just go count the people hacking in bf2 and 2142 and u will know. only vip hacks will last.
Got to love lurkers who know not what they speak of. Teklimaken, punk buster has been hacked a multitude of times, the difference between V.I.P. and Non-V.I.P. is the willingness to update, the amount of people who buy it, and the the time taken.
VIP hacks are the same type of hacks we make every day. Its when free hacks get leaked out too much and the amount used becomes 20% or higher, the security breach is figured out.
When you got a VIP hack, you have a hack that is used by 3-5%. its security is eventually determined in which case the person selling the VIP just updates it slightly to make more money off of.
Then you got the Elite VIP, which can not be bought, and are used by less then 1%. these are hardly ever updated.
Punk buster has been hacked, and hacked again. Its cake, whether or not you can hack it is irrelevent, this topic was to inform other hackers of the security system.
wow u are stupid... no anti cheat systems only detect known hacks that are used in mass quantities. the thing is pb does not need a up to date client to detect newer hacks and u will still get banned. the server side update speeds are amazing and all publics hacks that are used will be detected in a few days. and later dedicated servers will have admins reinforcing that system, so even vip hacks can be caught. and seriously punk buster was just turned on 2 days ago so i guesss u are the lurker..

Been a while as i'm planning a big move. Teklimakan, you have no idea how punk buster, or any anti-hacking system works.
Every 'Hack' can be caught and detected, but there are always ways to make it undetectable. The time it takes for punkbuster to figure out how they got the hack around their system depends directly upon the amount of people using that hack.
and even with 'Admins' we can make the hack undetectable. With PunkBuster live, i will have the ability to make my own full release hack, so yay for me.
But, if you still wish to call me "Stupid" because i know how these things works, be my guest.. when you get pwned to hell from me in this game, and your whining cause your free (and probably leaked to hell) wallhack isn't working. I'll be laughing and shooting your ass some more.
