Call oF Duty 4 & 5 Increasing Fps

Ok im pretty sure most of u know this but im just trying to share it for those who dont and i dont take any credit for this

Call of duty 4: In Console
/cl_maxpackets 60(if u have a very fast and good internet connection u can go up to 90)
/snaps 20,30, or 40 play with that(i recommend 30)
/com_maxfps 125

Also turn off shadows its not necessary

Call of Duty 5: In Console
/snaps_30
/cg_fov 80
/cl_maxpackets 100
/com_maxfps 0

exception for max fps
if you can maintain 125, then keep it at 125.
If your card can do 200, keep it at 125.
If your card can do 250, keep it at 250
if your card can do 300, keep it at 250.

yes graphic options helps but this helps even more i have a hard time running cod 5 so i sort of lagging even with low settings but using this i can run the game smoothly
