How to make your own server *working*

Future created this guide on another website, just posting it here, only a few changes to his but pretty much the same.

Needed files:
Postgres
PGAdmin

1. Create New Folder on desktop name it CoEmu then right click on it and click SVN Checkout... in URL of [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] repository: let it download.

2. Download this database (ill try to keep it updated) [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
If that link doesnt work try this one:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

3. Go into your C: Drive and create the following folders:

C:\COFullDB
C:\COFullDB\Main
C:\COFullDB\Main\AuthTables
C:\COFullDB\Main\CharacterData
C:\COFullDB\Main\Indexes
C:\COFullDB\Main\OtherData

Once you have created the folders right Click on COFullDB and go to sharing and set full access.

4. Open pgAdmin111, Create a new server put the following

address: localhost
description: Conquer Server
Username: postgres
Password: postgres (You can use anything but just use this to make stuff easy)

anything i havnt showed to put just leave as there defaults!

5. Go into the server u just create in pgAdmin111 and you will see a folder named Databases right click on it and go new database, Database name Conquer then click ok

6. Click on the new Conquer Database then go Tools --> Restore then point it to the backup file, click ok you will see the following:

WARNING: errors ignored on restore: 1

Process returned exit code 1.after you see that click cancel.

7. Press the + next to the Conquer database. Press the + next to Schemas. Press the + next to Public. Press the + next to tables. Right click the "Servers" table and click "View Data". Put your server name and your IP. Save and close.

Your database is now ready!

8. Go to your CoEmu folder on your desktop go Bin --> Release --> Config.ini now edit it to the following:

Code:
[Database]
DBname= postgres
Password= postgres

[Server]
Default-IP=YOUR IP
Pserver1-IP=YOUR IP

[Options]
XPrate=1

Where i have put "YOUR IP" place your ip there.

9. To start the server, run CO Full Server.exe

10. Connecting your Client to your Server:

C://Program Files/Conquer 2.0/server.dat open this file in notepad and replace it all with the following:
[Header]
GroupAmount=1
Group1=GroupPic9

[Group1]
ServerAmount=1

Server1=Test
Ip1=YOUR IP
Port1=9958
ServerName1=Test
HintWord1=
Pic1=servericon7314.

Go into the Conquer database and go to the tables. Right click the Accounts table and click View Data.

Put your account name here. DO NOT put the password. Leave all the other fields blank. The password for the account will be set when you login. If you put a password here, you will fail to connect to the gameserver when you try to login.

11. Commands: The commands are in AllCommands.txt found in the server source.

13. Enjoy your server

Re: How to make your own server *working*

I think this topic should be deleted.
...
Making a server based on these posts are useless.
The files are always getting deleted and the programs end up not working.
