| Registered User | Question about Met spamming This has been in my mind for awhile now, and I'am just curious about making sockets in TC with artistan Wind. First off is it harder to socket say super armor rather than normal lvl 10 armor. and how many mets should you have prepared for socketing I've been reading around the forum and the one on evp i get numbers from 100-300 What would you guys suggest? - thanks in advance |

| Registered User | Re: Question about Met spamming Dude.....got damn it....I hate when people think theirs a trick to every thing...Its at random...of course trying to Socket a Normal Item insted of a Super would be easier (commen sence) But their is no trick to "Prepare" the item for Socket. CO Is simply all at a Random with a ton of things such as; ((I Suggest Lucky Time For Any Thing Reffering Back To NPC's)) Getting Quality Upgrade from Repair (can only be done with lucky) Gettin Socket Item from TC guy Gettin Socket Item from TC guy (When using Dbs) Gettin Socket Item from Market guy (when lvling with mets Gettin Socket Item from Market guy (when lvling/upgrading qualilty with DB's) Gettin a good Enchantment from Market. Getting Good Items from LuckyLady and the list goes on... No trick, just luck. ~Acid Alchamy~ AcidAlchamy added 0 Minutes and 30 Seconds later...< --- Please use the edit button in the future--- > But then again, thats just one mans opinion. | Registered User | Re: Question about Met spamming Lol, I would have to agrue that greatly, Seeing how in the past 4 years I've had gotten over 10+ Sockets from Market guy compared to the 6 I've gotten in TC. And the one in Market is more cheaper seeing how you dont have to "Spam" it with mets. ~Acid Alchamy~ |

Why? Because there is balance, supposedly, between outgoing and incoming mets on a server (outgoing = met drops and so on, and incoming = armor upgrades and armor dying etc)... so the point is... a sock is usually made when the incoming met count on a server is equal to or greater than the outgoing... sort of like a "reward" for equaling out the balance... That is why spamming even gives sockets... there is no such thing as "luck" or "random" with computers... it's all variables in the code.... so say a server is set to give out.. iono... 1000 mets in a time period, but has only sent out 600... and sum1 else spammed 400... so then the server has sent out 600 mets - has already been spammed 400 by some other guy... so you will most likely get a socket after you have spammed 200 or more mets.... Hence the reason the best time to met spam is when a server just comes back online... because the outgoing met count will be low... theres no trick... just some mets and good timing.... nothing to do with your ko count, super or normal, nothing.... just a balance.... you equal out the balance... you get a reward (in the form of a socket) | |
