avoid updates (for those using multi client/speed hack)

i didn't know how many people know about this, or if it has been covered already. but i am assuming not because i haven't seen it in these forums yet(might be because i haven't done much digging and i am new)

simple steps to make it so conquer does NOT update:

1. open version.dat with notepad or some other text editing tool you use

2. change your 4 digit number to another FOUR DIGIT number HIGHER than what it already is.

example: i use 9999 instead of 4322

i did not find this out. i used it for a private realm that i used to play. absolutly no credit goes to me. i am simply trying to spread it out a bit.
