Is Assassin's Creed any good?

Hey guys is the game "Assassin's Creed" any good. Because I'm thinking about getting it.

It's a good game, but the ending is terrible. If you own a Playstation, then I recommend you get Uncharted: Drake's Fortune instead.

Which Playstation are you talking about? 2 or 3. I have a ps2 but not a PS3. Yet.

Oh, I was talking about PS3. The game would have to be on 3 DVDs and the PS2 wouldn't be powerful enough to run it.

Good to try, not to buy, I wasted 60 bucks on it and want my money back.
Gameplay is awesome, but REALLY repetitive, same missions all over again just a different target, and as said above, horrible ending

The gameplay is amazing and the graphics are beautiful but the only problem is that the game ends too quickly. Assassin's Creed is basically a next-gen version of Theif.

it seems like everyone so far has said the same thing except for the pre-release from x-play. they talked this thing up like crazy. everyone i hear from talks about how crappy it really is instead of the breakthrough game everyone said it would be.

It's decent.
The gameplay mechanics are good, but they're not implemented well. The mission variety is really poor in this game. Basically all you're doing is sitting on benches, assassinating targets, eavesdropping while sitting on benches, and sitting on benches waiting for some dudes to finish their conversation so that you can pickpocket one of them. Oh, there are also several hundred flags that you can collect that don't really do anything except increase your "sync bar." It's a good rental, but I wouldn't buy it.
