HEXEDIT Hacks to make them undetectable again?

There were many posts a long time ago about editing the CRC of the hack DLL and/or EXE to make the hacks undetectable for you personally, since you would personally change your own CRC only for your copy of the hack. Seems today, even if you change the CRC, the hack is still detectable. There HAS to be a way to change the hack and modify either CRC, MD5, or CVARS to make the hack undetectable again. Currently the hacks I try boot up and crash CS:S immediately, even after editing the CRC and changing some CVARS. Is there any way to hexedit the hack and make it undetectable again? Please help? There's gotta be a way.
