can someone explain to me what its all about is it free and if its like wow then im not getting it

It's not free, however, you could torrent it and connect to unofficial servers.

It is definitely not like WoW. How about you play the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and then decide?

Diablo 2, in my opinion, was always a little better than WoW.

D2 is free, gg there...
WoW made me feel like I was playing in a world of box shaped, badly textured, poorly animated objects. (Then again, the game is so massive, graphics and perfect animations would bog down most peoples computers.)
Diablo 2 is a 2d game but plays like a full 3d game with depth.

In WoW you find items, do quests, level, gain skills, fight monsters and pvp.

WoW uses a preset item drop system. Each boss of a dungeon or raid has a limited amount of items it can drop which allows massive farming and gear gains.
(Diablo 2 has a more random drop sequence based on item level. Any item can be found by a monster with a higher level than that of the item. This fuels the games in game economy, despite duping.)

There are major differences between the games, and i've played them both.
I can't full explain them to you though because of my biased opinion.

Just try out both games.
