someone told me to do this

Go to wherever you installed diablo II, usually C:\Program Files\Diablo II\ , and enter the save folder, usually C:\Program Files\Diablo II\save\, copy the files of your character, usually like blabla.db2 blabla.map0 blabla.key, just copy em all, highlight and click "ctrl" and "c" while holding ctrl, and go to the place you want to put the backup copy. It doesn't matter where, in desktop is fine also, click "ctrl" and "v" to paste it. Now that you have a backup copy you can go to duel or risk whatever you want in gambling, if you screw up you just paste the backup copy back into the diablo II\save folder. That isn't even the best part yet, here is how to really cheat well: get a trusted friend, ask them to host a game on another computer with a password, go into the game drop all valuables and things you want to dupe, and money, then leave the game, click "alt" and "tab" while holding, paste the backup files backinto the diablo\save folder and replace the old files(yes to all), you'll have your stuff again, go back to the game, click quit in the chat screen, reload your characters, and go back to your friends game. This takes only about 5min in reallity. Good for making perfect gems and maxing out your money.

this is only for single player characters, u can just use an editor to get anything and any lvl u want

Any dupe that you get for free is not legit and/or is for single player. Dupes will generally be only for the people who made it and for those who bought it off of him/her. Best bet is to create your own duping program or method and sell!! =)

Chances are that if he/she didn't know that that was only for single player, she wouldn't know how to make a dupe hack...

Duping prograhams are all fake there is only 1 way to dupe in this game that i know of if u get a dupe prgraham make sure you get unlimited updates for it too befor u buy it

[Only registered and activated users can see links. ] i have found this i do not know if it works i have scanned it with anti vir it said nothing but its made by jsp i think and dont want to risk anything yet so if anyone wants to be my guest and click on the download link and find out if it works and tell me if it does

It's a scam. Download the .zip. Open the only config file and read it.

Obviously that means that it sends your account info to that email, and he owns your account.
