Best late game hero..

For me, the best late game heroes are the ones who could kill many enemy's heroes but also could support his team as well.

So my list :
1st
FACELESS VOID
Yes, I absolutely agreed with you ppl. This hero is the most insane late gamer. Indeed, he is a great killer with his bash+chrono and he got a nice escape/chasing mechanism (Time Walk) plus a great defensive skill to cover his ass (Bakctrack).
However, for me and my team, he's a great COMBO INITIATOR. Usually my team's lineup (when we're serious) is FV + Voljin + Venomancer + if the enemies has big hp we add Tinker/Lion (yeah, their role here is to chow few hundred hp b4 chrono ended). You see, that Chrono+Maledict+Poison Nova (the main combo) will take enemies down even if they succeed to survive after being trapped. But of course, you have to have a great team + teamwork, which is pretty hard, my team usually fall on d Tinker/Lion role coz only 3 players (including me, LOL) has good skill.

N'AIX
Actually, this is just a 'What If' scenario, coz nowadays no Naix could survived till late game (i think -_-) . Lets say that N'aix could farm well and get his very expensive equip (Taras and else), of course he could pawn the whole team by just Avatar+normal attack. But for me, N'aix (with only Sange+bracers) itself will cause a big confusion+chaos when he appear with Avatar in the middle of the battle (don't ever appear in the very start! Enemies will focus fire on you!!!). The enemies will start either running (few) or attacking (the rest usually, attacking while screaming "Hey moron, attack! Get back here! Naix only has Sange in his inv!"). This will cause a big down to their cooperative action, so we could easily wipe them out.

SVEN (one of my favorite hero >.<)
Yeah... another great killer with his God Strength (sadly, GS nerved a lot, silly icefrog TT). Actually, i think from this list, Sven is the only one who could own since the very start of the game. Give Sven an (filled) empty bottle and he'll start spamming his stun like there's no tomorrow. This strat work well for me (hey... i often get 1st blood with this tactic+owning even when my enemies are pros), since usually enemies think Sven will hold back and save his stun until he get GS. Once Sven get GS, let him roaming across the map, helping allies to kill enemies. Save your money until you get Messerschimdt Reaper (usually i got it around lv 10-11), buy Tarras, and your GS will do a nice dmg. You'll also be a tank+loved by your teammates ^^. The backward of this strat is in mid game(before you get Reaper), you will feel your Sven a bit weaker (coz you did a great early, so when it's time to play safe you'll feel like your Sven is less shiny than early).
Usually that the way I use Sven, it's up to you if you aren't agree with it.

Naix don't have that much STR stat in the beginning and at the end..oh yeah..sorry for changing "Good" for "Best"..that's my bad..

My team also does that..Chronosphere then Blink-Epi then Macropyre! GG..

Sven with spamming stun is good in 1v1 but not in 5v5. I agree that sven owned whole game. But still the best for sven at first was having bracilius ring and + his tough armor skill = [max lvl] 9 , starting 4. And think of that your creep does also have the same amour. And he teamed up with skeleton king / warlock is the best , sven just keep farming while getting lifesteal from SK and the denied of skeleton king . Warlock will be pressure on enemy , if failed, support sven with its heal and deny.

I think TerrorBlade is a really good late game hero. With Skadi's frost attack, triple image, sunder and dagon. Can easily triple kill and own the game because it does hell lot of damage. Another hero should be Axe. All he needs to do is get HP and armor, or vanguard. When Berserker's call, it does Helix like crazy when outnumbered.

Nah , terrorblade already owning in the mid or earlier game with its ultimate. BUT in late game , i may agree with you if he had the item that can own.

2 - phantom lancer - imba images
3 - soul keeper - images + attk speed + ulti
4 - NAGA!!! - Images - attk speed + gay ulti for rax
naga ulti is enough for a total rax

I see a lot of opinions based on things like ASPD and permastun. While a hex or anything similar of the type can easily take care of them, unless you are talking 1v1.

Combos are more important than the actual heros imo.
