Im sorry im a noob, some questions i need to ask. please read.

Hi! i have just started playing Dota, 6.30B, i have started with sentiel, and i often use magima, (aka. anti-mage) i heard that he is a good hero...
this is what i do
lvl 1/feedback
lvl 2/blink
lvl 3/feedback
lvl 4/blink
lvl 5/feedback
lvl 6/ulti
lvl 7/feedback
lvl 8/blink
lvl 9/blink
and then i max mana shield and ulti (err i cant remember exact lvl u can get lvl 2 ulti) and attitional stats..
i blink behind his hero attack him, after a little when hes low, (hopefully i can bash him) then i use my ulti... it doesnt always work out cuz they always pwn me first lol...
i get power tread at first, then i get craimum basher (do craimum bashers stack?) and i get hyper orb... if i can i get more craimum basher...
please tell me what u think..
P.S i am a uber noob.

well , yes bashers stack, he is not really a hero who needs to use hyper stone since he is already a fast attacker, getting S&Y would be better for the maim and attack speed, plus ms is always welcome.

id say the problem is that you dont understand how magina's ultimate works, first if you notice that feedback takes away their mana, let it take it all away, let them run out of mana before casting your ulti, magina owns inteligence hero's but has a hard time killing regular or str hero's, yes i agree he is a good hero but not someone that you would want to use if you are a "uber noob".

try other hero's first, get the hang of the game more, random more, it's not good to perfect only one hero, try using as many as you can, dont re-pick unless you have used the hero and you think you will do bad with him. Anyway, the bashers are okay, i for one hate getting magina perma bash, altho he's a great candidate for it i still think it's kinda noobish for some reason, your strategy is good, learn his skills better and wait for them to be low health, pick on inteligence hero's first.

thanks man, i just random and got ice girl? the sentile girl that uses ice.. rofl it was so funny... i nova frost, then freeze, run to them and frost explodstion? cant remember the exact name, anyways shes kinda cheap espically aginst melee heros, lol but she kinda owns.

yup you may try using Mask of Madness for a cheaper price compared to hyper stone

dont believe at the poster above me... life steal overrides the feedback orb effect (mana break) and magina already has an uber attack speed so he wont need MoM. plus magina is pretty fragile and im sure MoM wont help him that much. the only advice i can give u is dont go for bashers at start. try to buy smthing that will hepl u survive all through out the game. me i always go for 2 wraith bands + 1 ring of regen. at mid game and early game...go for 2 bashers and MKB (perma bash owns) ;).if ur still having problems controlling magina... try other heroes first.... i recommend kardel sharpeye the sinper at the sentinel. his skills arent too complicated and hes noob-friendly. ^^;; GL HF

@horcrux yeah i guess ur ryt i never tried using MoM on magina....

but i sugggest u use basher [1 or 2] + butterfly [if you farm good] or buriza or hyperstone just pick 1 and try whats suits you best

remember,basher isnt the item to be bought 1st unless you facing noobs..getting black king bar or butterfly is better.Butterfly > Cranium Basher.Thats 100% sure.Besides,with your low life,you really would need evasion.Hyperstone is never really a good item for most heroes.Its really just a waste of money.If you can get a hyperstone,I did really save up for burize or other useful items.

maim stacks nicely with the orb actually, only does maim once and the orb work the rest of the time, so it's not bad.

wow zero is bad, what are you thinking mask of madness? on magina? wtf...

also id say s&y is a good investment on him, the maim effect stacks quite nicely with his feedback orb, shouldent be a problem.
