Hero Ideas

Well, give your ideas on creating an additional hero to make dota more balanced.

We all know that ranged heroes are easier to use than melee heroes. That's why I personally would like to see a melee hero that could punish a ranged hero.

Name: Ornicus (yeah lame name)
Class: Anti-Range
Allegiance: Scourge (lots of lame ranged heroes in Sentinel)
Range: 100 (melee)
Type: Strength
Model: Footman

Skills:
Defend
* Trigger. Same as the footman's. Puts up his shield to block ranged attacks but he will walk slower. Also gives passive armor bonus.
1. 15% slow and damage reduction from ranged attacks and gives +1 armor
2. 30% slow and damage reduction from ranged attacks and gives +2 armor
3. 45% slow and damage reduction from ranged attacks and gives +3 armor
4. 60% slow and damage reduction from ranged attacks and gives +4 armor

Charging Strike
* 100 mana. Teleports to a unit within 800 range.
1. 30 second cool down. Deals extra damage 0.1 x total range of blink.
2. 25 second cool down. Deals extra damage 0.2 x total range of blink.
3. 20 second cool down. Deals extra damage 0.3 x total range of blink.
4. 15 second cool down. Deals extra damage 0.4 x total range of blink.

Return Fire

* 10 mana. Auto-castable.
1. Returns 0.1 damage dealt to attacker
2. Returns 0.2 damage dealt to attacker
3. Returns 0.3 damage dealt to attacker
4. Returns 0.4 damage dealt to attacker

Myopia
* 400 mana. 120 second cool down. 400 area of effect. Affected units' range reduces to 100.
1. 20% attacks miss. 15% slow move and attack. Lasts 10 seconds.
2. 40% attacks miss. 30% slow move and attack. Lasts 20 seconds.
3. 60% attacks miss. 45% slow move and attack. Lasts 30 seconds.
