Points: 38,149.73 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 38,149.73 | Orb Effect Table Quote: Orb Effect Table If Sange and Yasha and Manta Style is build on the same hero, the images will not have ORB EFFECT.Please keep this in mind. Item Orb
Special notes on ranged:
Cold Attack isn't really an orb effect on ranged units, it only adds a debuff on hit to your attack, and as WC3 is coded, each attack may only place one debuff each attack. This leads to some special cases with Cold Attack on ranged:
Feedback and Cold Attack: If the target has mana, feedback will take effect. Otherwise, Cold Attack will take effect.
Chain Lightning and Cold Attack: If Chain Lightning activates, Chain Lightning will take effect. If Chain Lightning doesn't activate, Cold Attack will take effect.
Maim and Cold Attack: If Maim activates, Maim will take effect. If Maim doesn't activate, Cold Attack will take effect. Hero Orb
A quick explanation on how to read an excel chart:
As seen in the ranged part, an Eye of Skadi and a Stygian Desolator would give you the Corruption orb effect, regardless of any other circumstances. However, on melee heroes, it says "Place". Looking in the legend, it tells you that "Place" means that the item in the highest priority slot will take effect, as well as that the priority order is left over right, up over down. (upper left slot is thus highest priority, upper right slot next in priority, middle left after that, and so on) Additional notes of Terrorblade's orb effects
Credits to lionel319 for testing this and coming up with this table!
-- x means NO orb takes effect. This means that your Terrorblade does NOT slow nor burn mana (feedback animation may still happen)
-- burn = feedback.
-- frost = cold attack.
-- Ranged TB = Metamorphosised TB
-- The grey top half is simply when you FIRST pick up the Skadi/Manta, and the bottom half shows which takes priority in those cases. Read it downwards.
Examples--
1st column : Let's say you FIRST pick up Manta in melee form. You will have feedback for Melee TB & Images, as well as Ranged TB. No orb effect for your Ranged Images
5th column: Let's say you FIRST pick up Manta in melee form, and you FIRST pick up Skadi in ranged form. You will have Feedback for Melee TB & Images, BOTH Cold Attack and Feedback on Ranged TB, and just Cold Attack on Ranged Images
7th column: Let's say you FIRST pick up Manta and Skadi in melee form. you will have Cold Attack on Melee TB, and Cold Attack on Ranged TB. Your Ranged/Melee images have NO orb effects.
-- I used the word 'FIRST' as dropping the item, switching forms, and then picking up the item again won't work. The FIRST time you pick up the item, it sets the trigger according to this table.
E.g. Let's say you pick up both Manta and Skadi in Melee Form. You drop the Skadi, change to Ranged, then pick the Skadi up again. Your orbs then will NOT be of Column 5, but STILL of Column 7
-- Yes, this means that if a TB picks up Manta and Skadi in Melee Form, he will NOT have Feedback whether in Melee/Ranged even after he dropped the Skadi. Poor fellow huh.
