Internet users beware: Adobe has just acknowledged a fatal flaw in its own software that allows improperly configured websites to become attack sites (e.g., steal your passwords and user account details). Adobe also says the flaw is unpatchable and exists on a majority of the sites that use Flash to enable users to upload content; sites administrators can fix the problem by moving the upload capabilities to another domain, but there are currently very few absolutely safe sites. The good news is: the attacks haven't happened yet, but they could pick up speed if hackers discover the mechanisms that enable the attacks.
