Who's excited for this!?!?!?! Some history and recent updates of the Left 4 Dead series:

The first L4D was a huge hit with all gamers alike. It achieved several Game of the Year awards by famous game web critics. Valve was content with the results and started the L4D2 Project, but as they did, some of the fan/gamers got angry since they felt that the original L4D needed some DLCs until the making of L4D. Petitions, surveys and groups were made to possibly stop Valve from starting it's L4D2 project. But the groups have failed and Valve has revealed several trailers and some gameplay at the E3 convention in Spring. Feeling like they disappointed the fans of L4D, Valve had made a DLC to L4D called the Survivor Pack which is free. Recently, another map pack came out for the original L4D called Crash Course which leads the survivors into what happened after the "No Mercy" campaign. The helicopter crashes and makes the survivors once again take on a zombie filled journey. This DLC add 10 new achievements to the game so for you over-achievers, go get 'em!

At the finale of No Mercy, our four Survivors fought their way to the rooftop of Mercy Hospital, where they were flown away to safety in a helicopter. Crash Course continues the story moments later, taking our heroes from a fiery helicopter crash in the outskirts of Riverside to the escape vehicle that will lead them to the events in Death Toll.

While containing both Survival maps and a Co-operative Campaign, one of the primary goals of Crash Course is Versus mode. Crash delivers a complete, streamlined Versus mode experience in just 30 minutes. A recharge timer for infected teammates has also been added, so you can better coordinate your attacks. Item spawn behavior has changed for more balanced gameplay.

And now back to L4D2, the game itself has now several different moments from the original L4D. First of all, the AI Director has been improved into something "entirely" different. Adding to the changing weapon spawn, random special zombie spawn, etc, the Director now changes whole entire maps depending on your score. Zombies now have some qualities such as Hazmat suits which are worn by some zombies to protect against fire, this number is also random. Newly added Special Zombies such as Chargers, have been added. Different bullet types are now added like as indecinary (sorry cant spell it >.< [fire]) ammo. Another thing Valve put in the L4D2 Project is now you have to move to survive like when activating key points, you have to run away from the hoard and cannot just camp for the zombies keep on coming. New weapons! And now (finally) melee weapons are available such as the chainsaw, the fire axe, and my personal favorite, the frying pan. The weapons also have varieties. For example, the pistol can now be an M9 or a Desert Eagle (Don't worry! That's not ALL the variations). FOR SPECIFIC DETAILS LOOK AT UPDATED POSTS ON THE BOTTOM.

This game is only for PC and the 360 console, not for the PS3 nub cakes :p
$60 for the Xbox 360 version and $50 for the PC version. The game will also include one of America's zombie killing classic weapons, the baseball bat, but only if you pre-order the game. Also you get an automatic $5 off on the game if you pre-order. The game comes to pre-ordered customers on November 17th *guaranteed*. Original Left 4 Dead Special Infected --
  • Tank - Zombie on steroids, a little bit slower than a survivor
  • Witch - 1 hit down to a survivor, runs mad fast, does not attack unless provoked or stand too near
  • Smoker - long tongue to grab survivors and drag them toward it
  • Hunter - can jump long distances and claw like mad when pinning a survivor, breaks up groups
  • Boomer - pukes bile on survivors making them blind for few moments and attract zombies
  • Screamer [Idea was kicked] - runs fast, screams to bring out a horde

New Left 4 Dead 2 Special Infected --
  • Charger - charges at a distance
  • Mudmen - crouches low like hunters and slaps mud on survivors
  • Spitter - spits acid/fire on survivors
  • Jockey - goes onto survivors' backs and controls them
  • Hazmat Zombies - fire-proof zombies
  • Riot Zombies - unknown
  • Clown Zombies - unknown
  • Spiker [Might not happen] - Similar to Tank and Charger but has spikes on back to prevent melee attacks
  • Wandering Witch - a walking witch, only on day maps

Here is what you have to do:

1. Call up Microsoft
2. Tell them one of your DLC's are not working. Be prepared and have a DLC in mind that you have already purchased. (When i did this, i told them the mythic maps weren't working for Halo. NOTE: I previously payed and downloaded them. For those of you who don't know, a DLC is Down-loadable Content)
3. They will tell you to download it again. Don't do it, just pretend to.
4. Tell them that the DLC still isn't working.
5. They will probably tell to to check some things on your Xbox and possibly to download the DLC again.
6. Ask to speak to a supervisor. When talking to the supervisor, ask for a refund on your item.
7. The supervisor will then give you a certain amount of points on your account. They points will be enough to buy the DLC again. Since you already have the DLC purchased you will have the new amount of points on your account to spend on whatever you like.

NOTE: I have done this myself. This is not guaranteed to work 100% of the time but it should work at least 90% of the time. Good luck and have fun spending your new points.

If they don't give you any thing, oh well you wasted only like 15 mins max of your life. It's always worth the try, Who knows might get some thing. That made it worse, my computer didnt recognize it, so it didnt connect to the pc. I re installed the drivers, that didnt work either. I got frustrated and constantly unplugging and plugging the usb from the receiver.

Any ideas if its the pc or the receiver? This would be B.S. if its the receiver.
