It will close the RF window, and load a new one.

If you are not in windowed mode, you can just "alt+tab" and double click on the "exitRF" file. The RF program will close, and a new one will open. This will prevent you from "ctrl+alt+delete" > task manager > end task, which is a lot slower.

If you are in windowed mode, you still benefit, but not much. Clicking the exitRF file may save just a couple of seconds, because you can just click the big red "X" and start the program again.

This may help if you ever encounter the following problems:
-You are stuck in the loading screen
-You need to restart RF quickly
-RF stopped working
- and other reasons that you may have.

Although this may have been on the forum before, this program will increase your internet speed. The program is called TCP Optimizer.

Input your results into the TCP Optimizer. Make sure you modify all network adapters, and near the bottom check "optimal settings".

On Windows Vista, an error Report window pops up. I was using lilvon10's LZM Bot, (fantastic bot, btw) and i noticed that even when the Enable Restart function was turned on, it wouldnt work because the error box pops up.

So..here's the tut on how to turn those annoying error boxes off.

1. Start by Going to the Windows help menu. (For those who dont know how to get there, click your desktop background, then press F1)
2. Type in the Search Box, "Stop problem reports"
3. It should be the first result, but look for "Stop problem reports for a program"
4. Click "Click to open Problem Reports and Solutions."
5. In the left pane, click Change settings.
6. Click Advanced Settings.
7. In the Block list, under Don't send information about the following programs, click Add, and then Browse for the Rumble Fighter folder and open rumblefighter.exe NOT THE RUMBLELAUNCHER FILE.
8. Click OK. If you're asked for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

After the tutorial, you should be able to run bots without fear of the restart fxn not working.

IF YOU HAVE A STATIC IP ADDRESS
[other methods also, static is easy to change -.-]

1. Open up the command prompt by pressing Start->Run and typing in cmd

2. In the command prompt, type “Ipconfig/all”. This will tell you your current IP Address. After, type “ipconfig/release”. Keep the command prompt open for easy access.

3. Go to “Network Connections” (accessible through the control panel). Right click “Local Area Connection” and click “Properties”

4. With “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) selected, click the “Properties” button.

5. A new window will open. Under the “General” tab, select “Use the Following IP address”. Under “Ip Address”, put “10.0.0.1″. Press the “Tab” key on your keyboard.

6. Press OK on both open windows.

7. Repeat steps 3-4. Under the “General” tab, press the radio button “Automatically Assign Me an IP Address”. Press OK on both windows.

8. Go back to the command prompt and type in “Ipconfig/all”. You’ll now notice you have a new IP address.



IF YOU HAVE A DYNAMIC IP ADDRESS

1.Get to a command prompt. (START, run, cmd).

2.Type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).

3.Type "ipconfig /renew" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).


DIDN'T WORK? TRY :

1.Log into the router's admin console. (Often http://192.168.1.1/)
2.Release the IP address. (Method varies by router manufacturer)
3.Turn off router, ethernet hubs/switches, and the cable/DSL modem.
4.Leave off overnight.
5.Turn everything back on.




IF ALL FAILS
