| Moderator ![]() | Well I see everyone changing numbers in defineItem.h to make there weapon/armor look different. Thats good for CS sets and boards etc... but for weapons and armor that doesn't work because you also need to meet the level requirement. So heres a much simpler way to have your weapon/armor looking like a high level weapon/armor. Requirements:
Procedure: Step 1: Open FlyFF Resource Manager. Step 2: Open up data.res and extract propitem.txt to your desktop or anywhere on your computer. Step 3: Open up propitem.txt with notepad. Step 4: Find your weapon/armor in the list. Example: Practice wooden sword; Code: 6 II_WEA_SWO_PRACTICE IDS_PROPITEM_TXT_000014 1 1 IK1_WEAPON IK2_WEAPON_DIRECT IK3_SWD JOB_VAGRANT TRUE = = 8 7200000 100 180 HD_ONE = PARTS_RWEAPON = 0 = = 1 1 = 1 = = = 2 3 _NONE 0 0 0 0 0 = WT_MELEE_SWD AS_HORIZONTAL AS_DIAGONAL AS_VERTICAL AS_THRUST = = = = = 0.085 = AR_SHORT = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = XI_HIT_SWORD01 = = = = = = = = = PIERCING_WEAPON = = = = = = 0 0 0 0 0 0 = = = = = = = = = = = = 1 = SND_PC_DMGSWD SND_PC_DMGSWDC """item_WeaSwoWooden.dds""" 0 """""" IDS_PROPITEM_TXT_000015 Step 5: Find the weapon/armor you want it to look like your wearing. Step 6: Replace item_WeaSwoWooden.dds with the .dds for the weapon/armor you want. Example: item_WeaSwoBloody.dds for bloody one handed sword. Step 7: Profit. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Credits:

| Registered User | Re: [Tutorial] Changing Weapon/Armor Looks Very nice! But the last step is quite confusing...Can you re-phrase it? Does this mean that if we change a wooden sword to a high level weapon, and NPC it, we get the NPC'ed price for the high level weapon? Or when we NPC the weapon we get the auto price for the wooden sword? |
