I think there is not private servers because it's not like RO that You must pay for play (so priv free servers was made)
But of course You can make one :P (I wonder how :P)

There is one, Althoug not online yet. I do know that its gonna be better then real.
( if u look to the screenshots ) Its far from done.
But they will get there. If u see how far they came. They got the experience for it.

There are Several of these "Projects". But they all Lack of Prove... None of those made an Video that showed the Server. Every single of them Could be simple .res Edited Screenshots.

I would not keep up the Hope for this. Since those Projects are out for like 1 Year already. And none of them really has a Prove that they really do any Progress.

I have personally seen a private server.
Even played on it, was full of bugs though.
If you want one you most likely have to make one yourself..
To get started: google for ethereal, log all incomming and outgoing packets.
Then start working on an emulator.
I lack experience on these areas to be able to start such a project by myself, if someone wants to team up with me and give it a try PM me.

Edit:
Before someone asks: I cant prove what Ive just said, youll have to take my word for it.
Also dont even think about a PUBLIC private server, there most likely wont be one.

Clearly if there was a public "private server" it wouldn't be difficult to find.
