O3D File Format

Is there someone who knows something about the O3D file format? Is that a unique flyff format?

Re: O3D File Format

It stands for Objective 3D and no it's not a unique flyff file format.

It's very strange how there's absolutly no info on this file format to find on the web.

Re: O3D File Format

I think that's some sort of 3d object thingy-maboo, maybe static mesh files I dunno. Maybe try 3ds max or Maya. There's matching texture files for them, that's why I would think that.

Oh I know that. I was just pointing out that somebody with high-mid level knowledge of PHP could have made that file extension just for themselves. So only they would know what program can open it.

God bless,

Brian

mmmm.... mybe it's Orchestrate3D files (O3D) , if it is .... then try to use the option import and export in Maya or 3D Studio Max.

Re: O3D File Format

Objective-3D is a video-game library developped by Dream Overflow. It works on PC and Machintosh, and it is developped for Windows, Linux and MacOSX plateforms. Mainly developped in C++, O3D is based on : <ul>OpenGL for 3d graphics
OpenAL for 3d sound and EAX environnement

Re: O3D File Format

Keep in mind they can basically just have given it that extension to mark it as 3D object.
It can be anything technically.
Like renaming a .log file to .txt.
Maybe you can open it with 3D-Studio Max or Milkshape.
I didn't test that though.

I think there is a program. It's called Makeo3d. Supposed to open that file format. It's used on some other game too I guess. The hard part is finding the download for it @_@
