My automaton

weard.. automaton does work on 1 of my computers... but not on the other (both XP) if i run "FlyFF Automaton.exe" i get an error:
"Windows cannot access the specified device,path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." and that damn stupid avg program detects it...AVG SUCKS!!

Hmmm.... Well it sounds to me that the account that doesn't work is not an administrative account. I don't know for sure if Automaton requires the account to be an administrator, as the download was taken off the forum before I had a chance to download it, thus I can't test this to try and recreate your problem.

Check if the accounts you are using are administrators or not, I'd be willing to bet that's the problem! (but don't quote me on that, i'm not sure :P)

Lol, yeah, I guess that was the problem than, huh.
When, or if, you get on an administrative account on that computer and try it out, come back and post whether it worked or not.

You have to uninstall AVG, or find a way to make AVG not attack it. I had the same problem, got rid of AVG, and it works fine now. ALSO, I used the search function to find this out, Try to use it next time if you didnt already

I have AVG and had the same problem...
What I did is :
Turn of AVG Firewall, Web Shield and Resident Shield.
Hope that helped Good Luck

This is 100% right. Only need to turn off Resident Shield though.
