Why doesn't fly for fun work anymore

Everytime i start flyff the update thing comes up the the gameguard screen,but then after the game guard screen it blanks out on me.I don't use any hacks either.

does any one know why its doing this ?

I've had it too

Try running updater first,
when it's updated just start the game

if that wont work try checking your firewall/AV;

and if that wont work; delete the gameguard folder, than it will redownload itself when you start flyff again

I used to get this problem all the time. I tried reinstalling, deleting the gameguard folder etc which did absolutely nothing.

I ended up doing a system restore to the earliest point I remember the game to be working for me which worked.

If all else fails or nobody comes up with a better solution, I'd recommend doing the same as I did.

it still doesn't work for me.I've done the system restore,checked my firewall deleted the gameguard files and reinstalled them again,and i've even reinstalled the whole game and it still doesn't work for me.It used to work now it doesn't.

Simple...turn off or change your anti-virus ....because some anti-virus deny some because of their features...like kapresky and etc..

If u recently downloaded "flyff penya hack" open your host files and delete shit from it :P

You should also run Chkdsk, file corruption is another possible cause.

This happened to me too, but I totally forgot how I fixed it.
I think I did system restore to the time that it was working.

i don't use antivirus stuff

Have you tried this method, files sometimes indeed can go corrupt after a period of time.
