| Registered User | Re: How To dual client w/o lag? you pretty much just need a good comp and a very good interent connection. Its POSSIBLE to dual log on a 2.7 GHZ Processer with 256 MB of ram, if you have a good internet connection, but the computer laggs. I would recommend 3.4 GHZ and at least 1 GB of RAM on XP, 2 on vista. I would also recomend a 1.5 mb/s internet connection. |

| Lurker | Re: How To dual client w/o lag? Well I can dual client on my crappy 2.2Ghz AMD Athlon 64 3500+ (HP Comp)..It has 512mb and a intergrated graphic card. I was able to dual client without lag on a client which didn't have Automaton running on it, but the client which did have automaton open and running on it would lag somewhat. Btw you can't really just say "Go for 2GB ram" since if I went for a DDR 333Mhz PC-2700 speed ram and had 4GB ram, I would still probably lag unless that ram had some super timings which I doubt. Anyways, you should be able to run dual clients on a single core processor at around 2.2Ghz or higher for minimum, I assume? And hopefully you have around DDR2 667Mhz ram speed ATLEAST, latest computers these days (Depending on the processor/motherboard) have DDR2 800Mhz for AMD, and DDR3 1066Mhz or higher for some Intel processors... But otherwise, try opening them both in windowed mode and also running them at very low, turning all item/skill effects etc.. |

| Registered User | Re: How To dual client w/o lag? /me runs Intel Core-Duo 3.2Ghz 2gig of Ram and at least a 10mb/s connection guaranteed Never lag, unless opening up another program (i.e iTunes), but I can run two Flyffs, AIM, iTunes, and Firefox w/o lag |

I'm running on AMD Athlon XP 3000+ X64 Single-Core 2GB DDR-RAM INFINEON SB Live 24 Platinum SE (7.1) 400GB S-ATA 2 GeForce 7600GT-XXX (XFX-Force Overclocked) Ran stable for me (max. 3 clients at once) If you're planing to buy a PC I suggest you to get an Intel Dual-/Quad-Core Runs fine, but MSN seems to have some memoryleaks when gameguard is running. It goes up to 99% CPU usage out of nowhere.
