Tutorial How to setup a Flyff Private server

What do we need?

First of all you gotta download the Serverfiles.

Lightning55-Core-V2
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Now we need a DB (Database) we're gonna use Kasokis
(may be german idk)

Kasoki DB
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
The other stuff:

Appserv
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Navicat:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Neuz_no_gg:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Starter.bat:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]




Appserv

K.Now we're gonna install Appserver .

Klick next till you get to a screen where you need to type in Servername
and some other stuff.

*At Servername you type in Root

*At the Adminemailadress you type in yours.
*Klick next.
*Enter root password you type in 1234
*VERY VERY important:Tick Enable InnoDB
Made a screenie:
Then klick Install (The MySQL settings shouldnt be touched!)
Congrats you succesfully installed Appserv! (It's normal that a cmd window pops up don't freak out.)



Navicat

Intsall Navicat (I don't think you'll need a Tut for it).
Now start Navicat and click on trial.(You may use the full version if you have it.)

Now click on "Connections".

In the window you type in:


Connection name: Flyff

Host name/ip adress: localhost

Port: 3306

Username: root

password: 1234

Now you press Ok.
There should be a connection with the name Flyff on it now.

Doubleclick it.

The connection is now oppened.

Rightclick on your Connection then click on create New Database.

Write at ,,enter Database name'' Flyff !

Doubleclick on the new Database ( Flyff)

Rightclick on the Flyff database and click "Excute Batch File"

On the right side click ... and look for the Database the you downloaded (Kasoki's)

Now click on Ok and wait till it's done.

We're done with Navicat YAY^^



Edit the Server Ini´s

Now you extract the Serverfiles that you downloaded (in our case Lightning55 Core v2)

Now doubleclick on the folder(Lightning55 Core v2) !.

You look for the "login_server.ini" . When you found it open it with the editor .Now you gotta copy&paste this into your login_server.ini.
Save it NOW.

Now you look for Char_server.ini.
Copy this and paste it over the old char_server.ini.Save it NOW.

Kay look for "world_server.ini" open it and copy&paste this into it.Save it NOW.

Whew we're done with this part.


Starting the server

In the same folder just start these three .exe IN ORDER !

1.Login Server.exe
2.Char Server.exe
3. World Server.exe




Neuz.ini und Flyff starten

Look for the neuz.ini in your Flyff folder look for the ip="" and type in those "" 127.0.0.1.

Now you put those two thingys that we downloaded with the names
Neuz_no_gg und Starter.bat in your Flyfffolder.
You start flyff with the starter.bat.


How to make accounts.

Soooo...
1.We open Navicat
2.We click on the flyff database
3.We doubleklick on the Accounts table
4.We click on the small tiny + in the lower left corner of the table
5.On the following "sections" you type in this...
-In id you type in a NUMBER that noone else has
-In username you type in YOUR ACCOUNT NAME
-In password you type in your password before that read the Password info!!!1!!!!111eleven!!oneone!!!
-In acceslevel you type in : GM Account 1000 / User Account 100 / Bannuser Account 0
-In bankpassword you type in your bankpassword(hard to guess right?) e.g "1234"


Password Info:
You may not type the password like asdfqwert you must type it in md5.
Because im soo nice and i have soo much free time i made a guide for you

md5 guide:
Go to this website... ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ])
Always type kikugalanet before your password
e.g you wanna have the password test you gotta type in kikugalanettest
When you finished typing click on Run
When it's done there should be something like 89d1ed22aac58f5bbea53b2fde81a946.
Thats your password for Navicat!YAY!Now you copy&paste that into the password Bar
Hurray we finished making an account!!!

PS²:This server is only for LAN ima update it for hamachi/no-ip if i dont get flamed.

Edit 1:If you want to play with hamachi just put your hamachi IP
IN THE FIRST IP: OF YOU INIS.
Not in the [isc].
Edit 2:If your client closes after getting on the char select screen
use this client:

I have the server up but the client doesn't connect. It closes after trying to connect. In log files, User disconnect! <TID: 0>, Reason: recvd=0

Any idea ? Bad client ?

put your private server file into your flyffonline folder or copy the flyffonlinefiles and put it into your private server folder

Probably... Go to hamachi if u have one
If u dont then google hamachi then install it
Then look into ur files (Login, World, Character) and change all ur IPs to Hamachi's IP...
Look on top... there a IP for you when u install Hamachi... Put ur IP in ur neuz.ini and Login,World,Character... Then once u finish, Click loader or starter.bat if u have it... Click them and u connected to ur server... But first... U need to click "Server Auto Restarter" then wait for 3 programs to appear. Then close Server Auto Restarter program, but don't close other 3... U need them opened to connect ur client... So u finished :) Have fun...

I think these are because of some one's DB..there were backdoors in them. I have already forgotten how to set up these servers, lol, will try them again this week end.

Tried with hamachi, didn't work (not sure if it was well setup).
May be my client is not good, or my server files... (got them from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ])

I disagree to navicat and prefer "MySQL Administrator Tools" from the mySQL Server development team.
