Misuse of the "Report Thread" Button

Ok, Children, Uncle Vash is getting perturbed.

The Report Thread button has a clear purpose: you press the button when someone has broken a rule and then myself, or another staff member, comes and cleans up the mess. You do not need to tell the person that you Reported the thread, thats just spam. You do not need to go on about how they're a noob and should get warned or the thread should be closed, thats my job, and youre just producing spam.

And above all, if I see another reported thread with something like these comments(to name a few):
"Where to find hack?"
"I cant find download!!"
"Great thread LOL"

I will warn you. I will warn you severly... I might even just ban you outright, because for the past week or so, everytime I go into the Reported Threads section, I have to wade through about 20 threads that people are falsely reporting. Its very annoying and Uncle Vash gets grumpy easily.

So please, for your own sake, use the "Report Thread" button tastefully.

The infraction system has been amended to include an instant 30 day ban for anyone who misuses the "report thread" button. You have been warned. If you report a thread in order to thank us for such a 'cool hack' or to ask for help with something, you will be instantly banned for the forum.

Its really that annoying.

Hmm... I will always follow your rules however! I tink there's no problem in posting a reply with some serious stuff in and then adding the "Reported." part after that. It can't hurt anyone since the message already contain stuff that's worth reading.

well make the Report thread button like a dble edged sword, if they abuse the the button then the person can get warned instead
