User Rating Discussion

I am really trying to push the user rating system right now. So I am making a User Rating discussion that is in correspondance with the announcement I made: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

This thread has many purposes. I need the help of all the members here. Without the help of the members, we won't be able to pull this off. So leave your feedback on the User Rating system. Somethings I am trying to figure out is:

Why does no one use it?
Did you even know about it?
If we did successfully use the ratings, would you trust it in trades?
If you had a good rating, would you think of being a GzP MM? (not saying GzP will have official MMs yet. Just a thought)

The main point about this is to gain trust in our users here. We have a trading section that is just filled with a lot of trades. No one trusts anyone. Alot of the users who post there solely go off a user's post count. While that is a good start, I don't think its the best option.

So please, discuss what you think on how we should tackle this.

Your Link doesn't work. You have to go to a section, (Ex. Soldier Front) to access it.

I'm really not a buyer OR a Seller here. But to me this is a very good Idea.

- Maybe their just to lazy to, Or just Don't know About it
- I knew about it, I've never traded anyone, So Why should I?
- I might. I would NEVER trade with a user with 1-100 Posts. Even if that certain user did Have good Feedback
- I would like to be a Middle man. I think I'm trusted around here, Except for my Infractions.

In my Opinion, This would be a Great Idea! I want to start selling\ Buying Soldier front Accounts, And this come very Handy when I start it.

I agree with not trading with someone with less than 100 posts. However, if you have good feedback, im sure you would have posted more than 100 posts. At least to get to a decent feedback number.

About the middleman thing. I am trying to encourage everyone to start using the feedback system to head in the direction of having trustable middlemen. This does not mean GzP will have an Official MiddleMan. Its just a step into that direction.

I think the main reason why alot of members don't buy/sell/trade here is because there are no grounds on it being successful or not. Not only that, but in some section, there are pages upon pages of posts. How can one tell if they have been completed unless the user said it was. So my end idea is to get the entire trading center into a functioning one. Because honestly at this time, its just a huge mess of trades. No one trusts anyone and users pretend to be staff and its just a disaster. So I am starting with getting the entire board familiar that their is a feedback system and that it should be used.

Agree. I think that ONLY Moderators, (Ex. Steve) should be able to post there, Excluding the Person who got Scammed, And the Scammer. I know that will be hard to do, But I know it's possible.

A lot of users do go onto Ebay, (Like me), but If you research "Soldier front Accounts, Aimbot, Wallhack, Map hack, Ect... you won't find anything. Thats another good reason to get this feedback system going. I am behind you 100% to actually get this started again.

Heres an Idea that I had come up with during the day

Get rid of all the posts that are like "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]", and make a New section for that.

Also, I don't know if there is a section for this, But make one for Free downloads, For things like this "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]"

And for the section of "[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]" Just add a few more sections LIKE Soldier front, ect.. Clean up the others.

Anyways, Those are just Suggestions. I would change my Font back to regular, But it does nothing.

I don't like the idea about not tradeing/buying/selling to user's with less then 100 post.

I think if a user come's out in a professional manner,and use's a staff member as a middle man,he/she should be trusted.

I don't even have 10 post and ive traded and sold 100's of time's and i've never scammed anyone while tradeing/selling

I would be sorry that if this would affect the 5% could traders we got. However if you look at the trading center as a whole, you have 95% trades going wrong, bad, ect.. Most of which are users with a post count less than 100. So its more of a safty measure.

This is why I started this discussion. I want to get everyones opinions on it.

Any noob can come in here and say " i r trdng hax 4 accs" or "I am trading some of my High ranked Accounts for some Hacks."

I can see how that can make a Guy most likely trade with several users. Also, Look at your Feedback. You say you've traded over 100 Items? Theres another reason to get this system going. As with you and not liking the Idea, I can see how some users won't like it, But it will make it a lot more Trust worthy.

I don't think a lot of people really know how to use it or want to.
I've Middlemanned a few trades for Gamerzplanet and also participated in some. While i've been scammed and had successful trades, i've never received feedback for either, whether i was buying/selling OR middlemanning.
I just don't think people take the time for things like that. That's probably the reason.
