IP Banned

Hi Admin,

Apologies in the first instance if this is posted in the wrong section.
I tried searching FAQ and looking the forum but couldn't find a relevant section about Admin Stuff.

I just registered as an user yesterday from an Internet Cafe.
My other internet location which I normally use is IP BANNED and I do not know why because the last couple of days are the only times I visited this great forum.

Can you advise who to contact and what do I need to do to get this issue resolved?

Instead of taking the risk of posting in the wrong section,

Please send this message to an Administrator such as: r2k or Skyline, or pursuited.

It makes everything more efficient, and less open to where the public can see it.

You also have to note that if your using the internet from a internet cafe, your not the only one who could connect to GzP. Maybe at one point or another, someone at the internet cafe did something against the rules which caused that IP to be banned. So it may not of been you, but someone prior. As r2k said, reply back with the IP. Or feel free to PM me the IP if you dont want others to see it.

Many Thanks Admins for your advice.

I've sent a PM with details to Sky. The other location is my home hence don't feel comfortable disclosing my IP address in the public.

Do you want me to PM you the IP or I wait for Sky's reply?

Hi persuited,

I tried earlier at work to PM you but got stuck with the "no more PM" restriction after 3 post. I think Sky must have unbanned my ip as I can login from home now.

It's kind of dumb how this forum lets people post programs or etc.. that can help make GZP a worse place.. Such as I.P. PROXY or ways to change your I.P. Address. These ways help people un-i.p. ban themselves from this site x_x lol

people can not download files of of this wonderfull site so people can not as you put it "un-ip ban" them self just thought i would answer to your post just being helpfull :)
