the fault does not lie on your side. one of the channel modes were accidently triggered.

but to be able to join even when this mode is active you've to register your nick.
/ns register <password> <email>
your current nick will be registered.

the next time you get on the server, change to your registered nick then type
/ns identify <password> to authenticate.

you'll never see that error message again. good luck
