[Have A Read] Recent downtime -- Our status [Long]
I'll warn you; This letter is long. Scroll down for the short version, but don't get pissed if you don't read the whole thing.

I'll start where I should -- at XecuteIRC, my former IRC network.
Well, here's how it went. I logged onto XecuteIRC after about a month of inactivity from my end. The net was pretty much dead, and a guy hosting one of the main servers was shutting his box down. So, the net was doomed. I therefore decided that I would just shut the whole thing down. So I did. I gave some of our linkers 7 hours to activate their own services and stuff, and so they did -- and delinked.
Now, I logged off. Later, I came on via my phone. It turns out Badmanh, my co-owner, must've been completely pissed off that I was shutting the stuff down, so he did a "rm -rf *" on both my boxes. That means, he deleted all data. Yes, tragic, very.
Now, that obviously means everything is lost. You can partly blame me, partly Badmanh. You can blame me for trusting him with my login information while I was running the IRC net, even though I worked with him for 2 years. Then, you can blame him for doing such an unneeded thing.
Now, I've shut both those servers down. What's lost is lost. I then bought a new 512 MB Linux server instead. Yes -- it's better than our previous one. Way better. So with bad, comes good, I guess.. Or whatever you say.
With this new server, I will be able to host 2 WoW servers, with a great increase in performance. One is the good old PvP server, other is a Public Test Realm, where I will be testing all my DB changes and such before moving it to the PvP server. Of course, the PTR will restart a lot, so don't play on it as your main server.
To update you a bit on our status, I am currently waiting for the maps to upload to the server -- they're at 34% right now, been running for one hour. The PvP server is already compiled and ready, it just misses the maps. After that, I'm going to compile the PTR and eventually, we will be back. Also, the site is fixed by now. You can re-register your accounts, so please do so.
I would like to apologize for all the trouble I've caused you people - I mean, we've lost 760+ accounts and 270+ characters. Sure, we lost some custom stuffs in the world DB, but that's nothing I care about.. What I was most shocked over was that the accs and chars was gone, when Badmanh told me he did the delete command.
I remember what level some of you were, so if you contact me ingame, I will issue a .levelup for you.

Short version: Badmanh deleted everything including characters and accounts. Servers shutted down. New server with 512 MB RAM purchased. Two realms will be running. Uploading maps now. Will issue a .levelup to most players that I can remember the previous level of.

Wow, that sucks majorly, oh well though, a PTR and faster server helps, and atleast your still keeping the server going. Keep up the good work, and try to stay away from vengeful people O.o

Yes, I'm afraid that as all the accounts were deleted you will have to re-register.
