[hackers' help needed]Server sided games hacking

I know that the only way to hack server sided games is by hacking their base itself(not talking about bots) and changing for example money amount/character level,but is it possible to do any of that with a program and being able to use it (i said being able to use,coz ever body talks about"cheat enging" when seriously all it does is wasting your time,so if any of Gzp's good hackers know of a way/program to do it,then that would be very good.

hackin server side is illegal, i don't think GzP will want to be involve in this,
