NVIDIA has sold/shipped 30 million GeForce 8 series cards.

I often hear that PC gaming is "dying", but these sales statistics say otherwise. With these numbers, there are more gaming-capable PCs out there than there are current-gen consoles when you put ATI in the picture.

where did hear that pc gaming is dying? this is the first time im hearing this lol
i seriously doubt that pc gaming is dying, aside from the GeForce 8 sales, because it's just easy to download games with pc + w/e other stuff you want while your at it. pc is more commonly used so it's harder to replace it even if game consoles does a better job than pc. it's the same reason that more people use ebay than amazon, because ebay was the first; people are used to it and don't want to change. it's just my opinion and i love

Yeah, but because so many peoples are downloading games illegally, less and less producers makes games for PC.. SO PC GAMING WILL DIE.

you still can develop PC Games, just develop them a few months after the Console Version...
Thats how RockStar does it... and it works.

Anyway, I got an 8600 GS in here too =D

TO be honest, I pirate every non-online PC game. PC Gaming really is dying - Call of Duty 4 only sold 40,000 units for PC (In the first month) and 400,000 people pirated it, at least.

I want Nvidia to lower the price of their cards...
They have so many sponsors (like evga,xfx,bfg,etc) I'm sure they could somehow reduce the price somewhat to make the cards more affordable >.>
