Question Editing .KOM Files

I have tried editing the GC files but I don't understand when I extract the files from the .KOM files. What does everything do and what's possible to change to benefit my playing experience to help me level faster and/or get better buffs, etc? If anyone has any advice please don't hesitate to help me out.

The folder you made o-o.... You put the .KOM file in the folder with the KomExtract.bat and then run the KomExtract.bat, it then extracts the files to that folder.

i typed in the path of the kom i'm extracting then hit enter.
it appears to say that it has been extracted.
but i dont see any new files appear in the folder.

Don't type in the path. Copy the .KOM file to the folder with the KomExtract.bat then just type in the name of the .KOM (ex: Script.kom, just type in script).

how exactly does the kompact work? what exactly am I supposed to type when pasta: is prompted? (paste what?) then nome: I assume is script? the file's don't seem to move anywhere..

Take the GC .KOM files and put them in a separate folder containing just KomExtract and the one .py for the KomExtract.

I put the extracted file's from the *.KOM file into a seperate folder with kompact, kom_create2 then exe kompact, type Script twice (1 for pasta: and 1 for nome:), then type 0 and I don't see the new script.kom anywhere.
