This is a collection of utilities used for connecting to GWLP servers or otherwise interfacing with the Guild Wars client.
2. Installing
You must have Guild Wars installed and up-to-date on your computer, preferably in the default directory. If you have a backup of gw.dat and gw.exe files from a previous installation of this software, see the Bundling section below.
When installing be sure you select your current Guild Wars directory for the location to install to. Also be sure that copy of Guild Wars is not currently being used. It may take some time depending on the size of your gw.dat file.
3. Use
Use the shortcuts available in Start Menu -> All Programs
*Play on GWLP Server
-This allows you to connect to a GWLP server. This shortcut needs to be edited to include the IP address of the server you wish to connect to.
-Do this by right clicking the shortcut and selecting "Properties"
-Add -ip <Server IP address> after the " in the target field.
-Or just change 127.0.0.1 to your server's IP address
*If the server you wish to play on requires the use of the GWLP proxy:
-Edit the GWLP Proxy shortcut. Add " -ip <IP Address> <Login Server Port> <Game Server Port> "
-Ex. " -ip 127.0.0.1 8112 9112"
-Duplicate the Play GWLP shortcut and change "-ip 127.0.0.1" to "-proxy"
*Start Packet Capture
-This will start the packet capture program. It can be started at any time. It takes command line arguments. But those are dev only.
*Update GWLP Guild Wars
-This will update the copy of Guild Wars used for connecting to GWLP servers. Use caution when deciding to use this, it cannot be undone. This copy is normally sheltered from live updates.
4. Bundling
This package allows bundling of a Guild Wars data file, executable, and this setup program. To use this:
A. Copy the GWLPClient install file to a directory
B. Copy the Guild Wars data file (gw.dat) to the same directory.
C. Copy the Guild Wars executable file (gwgwlp.exe or (gw.exe and rename to gwgwlp.exe)) to the same directory.
D. Burn to DVD, compress, etc.
When you run the setup in the same directory as gw.dat and gwgwlp.exe it will use those copies of the files instead of copying files from the current Guild Wars installation. This makes it easy to have a fully working client by just running a single executable off a DVD.
5. Uninstalling
Uninstallation is simple. However, there are a few files that are purposefully left after an uninstall. They are as
follows:
A. GWLPGuildWars* [Directory]
-This directory may be deleted depending on how you installed the software. If you used bundling it will be
deleted when uninstalling. If you did not, the two files that remain are for backup purposes. If you don't need
them they can be deleted.
6. Contact

Im updating my client. And this WORK 100%. Need 21.000 files more and i enter. You can make your account manually. Somebody have a question, enter in the IRC.
Explain...
How do we exactly use the utilities to play guildwars for free...
It could be me, but without a server running on your LAN, there won't be much to play, now would there?
So IF you even got this working, give a more detailed explaination :)
