Ok i wasnt here during the giant bot raid guild wars had that time and i know now you very rarely see bots, so i was wondering if you run a Bot/Macro now what are the chances of getting banned? cause im getting rather bored of this game but i got all expansions so i rly dont want to screw over my account so ya what are the odds of getting caught and what are some ways to less likely get caught.

to be honest, slim to none. there is no guildwars GM's. unless u go to a popular place and some1 reports you, then u essentially cant be caught.
no A/C system, either.
if u can find a relyable bot, then use it. the problem is, there isnt many relyable ones.
Actually the GMs don't always have there GM sign up over there head so you can't really tell and they were banning around 300 bots a day during that big raid.. they even commented about it
There are more GMs out there than you think, as they rarely (almost never) wear the GM symbol above their head. I would strongly recommend botting on a second account, as it is very possible to get banned. I believe a ban can be carried out by recognizing you do repetitive actions for hours, but I am not sure. If a few people report you in a district ArenaNet will investigate the matter...
a bot would be more then just repeating an action over and over... i know plenty of people who hfff (doing a quest to farm faction using only heros/henchies that only requires you to move them to certain spots) for hours on end, repeating the same tasks over and over with little to no variation.
This is how Guild Wars operates: After a set number of repeated actions, you will get a message warning you that if you do that action again in the next 5 minutes (I.e, boss farming) you will be added to the ban list and will have the chance to appeal immediately before the ban and afterwards.
However, I do recommend not doing that action for those five minutes; five minutes aren't going to kill you.
