Well, I just got enough to get a new expansion, so which should I get??

Nightfall + Factions + Proph package at Sam's Club for $50.00

Or if you don't have that money, Nightfall is best for Farming
Factions is best for PVP
Prophecies is best for PVE
And GWEN is best if you've already done everything in the other campaigns, or just want to do level 20 oriented stuff.

well, EOTN is the only TRUE expansion, the others are considered diff games (because they can stand alone)

factions is a pretty boring story (but i hate the story in proph too) and nightfall has had the best reviews, so i suggest nightfall

i suggest factions, more "fast paced" and so you are more interested because prophecies is LONGGG and you will probaly give up half way. Nightfall is pretty good, great for money, best campaign for money. EOTN, get that later, when your more experienced in the game.

lol, well I ended up getting factions... I got to level 15 on my first day, sounds fun, very fast game, I like it... escepically the assasin prof.

i have all of them currently and i have to say that if you really like assassins you should get nightfall later cuz there are some really good combos with skills that you can only get in nightfall

Prophecies was, is and always will be the true Guild Wars story. After Factions came, I quitted. I bought the factions, but the story was just too retarded and boring so I quitted. Haven't tried out Nightfall tho, but I guess I'll be getting GWEN...Maybe...

The way i did it was just start of with Prophecies, but that was before nightfall and all came out. Still Prophecies has the best storyline in my opinion but some parts are really boring.

Factions has fast leveling which some ppl encourage and others hate. But Factions has the core of all PvP Experience, the battle between the Kurzicks and the Luxons. For someone who is pvp-orientated, factions is the best choice by far.

Nightfall has a pretty boring storyline in my opinion, but has some nice features like the heroes, easy to grind titles and some of the best farming skills.

Eye of the North is for players that really like Guild Wars and want a challenge instead of leveling a char to lvl 20 and just kill some mobs without any sweat. It also has the heroes feature, which i mentioned in Nightfall, also some easy to grind titles and of course the fun dungeons which give this expansion a nice flavour.

My opinion: If you want to enjoy all the features, buy the 3 Campaign pack @ Sam's place. If you want to have a good storyline and a challenging expansion, buy Guild Wars Platinum, existing of Prophecies + Eye of the North.

I meant in terms of available additions, so technically not really completely a personal choice,and a 3 word post? Not to mention not very helpful either.

And through much research (and buying all 4 GW sets ) Factions is the way to go =P
