Which To Get First?

I want to buy Guild Wars, but I don't know what to get.
My choices are the original GW or one of the standalones.

I looked at the other threads comparing them but none involved the original.
I'm so divided and confused!

Nightfall, I'd say is the best if you want a nice and long story line, factions for PvP, and prophecies (SP?) for... a little bit of both. Eye of the North requires one of the other GW games and a level 20 char.

Eye of the North requires Prophecies(Also known as usual Guild Wars) since it is an expansion to Prophecies.

Personally, I suggest Prophecies because it has the BEST storyline EVAR (atleast I think so) and its exciting....But thats just me

Eye does not require prophecies.

And my note is:
You're better off with getting them in this order: Prophecies, Eye, Factions, Nightfall.

get guild wars game of the year edition. it has an inspansion included. only 30$ in the US

Prophecies is good for a simple campaign, and a basis for skills, Factions is a quick leveler, long storyline, lots and lots of skills, but most of those skills are pvp based, Nightfall will get you money. money money money. with an addition of a few skills and a decent storyline. I dont have EOTN so I cant put in an opinoin.
