Guildwars Map Downloads (In-Game)

I was wondering if anyone else even after exploring the entire game gets map download upwards of 50mb?

When I explore places in a party, never towns but outside in battle and such it's downloading like 70mb map downloads, I know that understandable for first time but it lags me alot when travelling through places I've already been..

add -image to your GW shortcut once, it will download all available files when starting the launcher.

e.g.: "C:\Program Files\GuildWars\GuildWars.exe" -image

yeah, do as r3v says, but remember to remove the "-image" from the shortcut after it has downloaded the maps, or else GW wont start.

Just right-click on the guild wars shortcut, click properties and add " -image" after the path to guild wars.
