i'm new to gw. and i see u guys toking about farming to make money. can explain wads farming. and how to do it?

Farming is the act of killing the same monster in large group alone or in groups of 2 many times in a row in the shortest time possible.Like 55hp monk and N ss/sv in the underworld.

If your new I would start off at farming Gypsie Ettins and selling the gold Paultrons for 5k each or something, then have a try of farming Trolls outside Droknar.

Use google to find some farming builds.

Beginner farmers should be a W/*. A stance build does pretty well when farming outside Augery. The build that i used was based on Gladiator's Defense, Bonneti's Defense and Defensive Stance. You can't really die (unless you are up against stuff that can cast spells), but you will take longer to kill stuff than 55 monks and SS necros.

The real master famer (IMO) is the 55 Monk...but they're alittle expensive, mostly because everyone and their grandmother has one...
This brings the price for the required runes up.
They usually go for 3.9-4.5K each, and you need 5 of them...My advice would be to save up and buy the runes....the -50HP focus item you can get from a quest in Ascalon city on the north side...I think it's the north side, it's an obscured NPC dude...that is, if you have only Prophecies.

But you can always just buy that item for ~5K.

I'm still waiting for my bow to sell so I can go buy the rest of my monks runes... and some skills and such.. then hooray for farming
