For the GW Haters

90% of people who play wow are actually probably over 40. also, i'd like to be able to have full movement in a game, the x,y, and Z axis. wow also has to keep up 500 servers running with over 5,000 people on each at any given time.

Back to Wow vs. GW...
Just to make clear, i think WoW is a better game. Simply because it does so many things better. Sure your equipment and level affects your 'power' alot, but if you cant find any strategy in the pvp, its because of your lack of skill. You wrote a little description of some fight you experienced in GW, and it seemed like all you did was spam some Mindburn spell, how's that strategy? Go WoW and make a restoration(healer) druid and spam some Moonfire.

Saying that the absence of jumping adds challenge to GW is just plain BS, it just reduces realism and restricts your movement. So, WoW has alot better controls and lets your move more freely.

Im not saying GW is a bad game, its just... well, its all you can expect from a game that has no monthly fees. And i think Blizzard is a greedy piece of **** company, but i cant deny that they made one of the best games ever.

I would take your post seriously if you had bothered to read the entire damn thing.

Here is my opinion, i didnt bother to read passed hte 1st page though, because it was just going back and forth with huge 5 paragraph essays...

According to what that Arydian guy says, wow is all about who has the best firepower... Well i have played tons of MMOgames like this, where you lvl up, your sh*t get's stronger, and it's all about lvling up and getting better stuff. I played those games for like 2-4 days and stopped because it was just so dam boring and repetative. Gw is NOT about leveling up (hence the 20 level cap) and having the better stuff. Have you seen the skills in GW? Did you take the time to check out some of the skill descriptions? Alot of GW skills are not just "Click and do more damage" . I haven't seen a game ever before in my life where planning and teamwork mattered so much.

Now, i am not GW fan boy. I've seen wow being played and it looks allright. Looks like you can have alot of people on your team at one time, and it seems like there's lots of tough combat situations. So i'm not saying WoW doesnt have anything that i said GW has... i'm just saying GW does it better, from what Arydian said. Also, Horses and Vehicles and sh*t (in all my time of playing MMO'S) just seem to be another way to wste in-game money, doing nothing but speeding up your character and making getting around easier. Well whatever, continue the argument O_O

And if i had to listen to people calling me a newb all thetime, i'd probobly go flipping nuts. And instancing is a brilliant idea... No stupid World Map Pking to screw up your day, No kill stealing, and not having to deal with the general "b*tching idiot" population that roams the world... It's so much better. When you start getting further you wont be spending much time on the World Map alone anyway, You'll need other poeple in your troupe.

My style of play is 1 vs 1 pvp. I absolutely hate GW Arena you go to fight sumone and sum farkin Monk is healing him i mean wtf you cant even fight anyone yourself.

I dont wanna go through everythign but seriously its like saying wots better the apple or the orange. oooo **** U U! ****ing **** Orange is better coz many people like orange juice. LMAO. It depends on peoples taste.

And please dont say WoW FAnboys i dont play WoW anymore or GW Dey both bore me to the core because they both dont have much action.

Then WoW is perfect for you. No skill, bonus. Who ever has the better equipment comes out victorious. Guild Wars takes an amazing amount of skill, effort, and the ability the think and act quickly (something you don't have to worry about in WoW) to come out victorious. And if you tried to 1v1 in an arena, I must say, you sir are retarded. No you can't fight someone yourself, it wasn't meant to be like that, it's a team effort. Remember the quote "There is no I in team".

What can you get out of any game? You can sell an account, but with how much time spent playing, and how much money spent monthly to get to that point. The amount you can sell the account for would be either the same as you spent monthy, but most likely a lot less. So if you think about it, you can't gain anything from playing games. You can make more money working within that time you spent playing the game just so you can sell the account in the end, to not even make a profit. You lose out in money, and time you could of spent doing something useful.

Graphicly, Guild wars blows WoW out of the water. I mean, seriously, you enter an area in guild wars that you've never been in before and it's amazingly stunning while in WoW it's like "meh".

Gameplay- GW 8, Wow 0

all I have to say is this. What gameplay? All you do in WoW is grind untill you are level 60 and can PvP, in which you click and hope you are stronger than the opponent.
