back to the topic. I believe that MMORPGs or any other genre of ORPG, pretty much at least, has its fun factor condensed into mainly one thing. People. I have noticed that while playing WoW I got a whole lot more out of it on an RP server, than say, on a PvP server. I know that its not the ONE factor that makes up a game.. but I know that its a very large part of it. WoW has more people than GW, but I have to honestly say that the people on WoW are complete *******s. My friends and I moved from WoW to GW because of this. I no longer have the liberty of playing GW now because of my job and girlfriend and school.. but it was a much better experience than WoW.

I think that maybe if you play on a different side of either Horde or Alliance then maybe you wont be exposed to as many jackasses, making the game better.

I think that also, if you play on a server without as many *******s, this can also change your experiences.

If you can get into a better/friendlier guild on WoW, then you might have a better time on it than GW. Visa versa.

I know that if you play EQ 2 and don't talk to anyone, you will have a bad time. all I did was craft and solo. I did some PvP, but not much. It was the worst time ive ever had on an ORPG, ever.

I know that if you play WoW and don't talk to anyone, it's going to suck.

I feel that GW almost forces you into a party when you do PvP, making it much more enjoyable. you are almost forced to socialize and meet new people.

How you feel about one game or another can be completely based on experiences. you might have different experiences than someone else's, which formulates your opinion about a particular thing. (Immanuel Kant). if you have good experiences then you will have a positive opinion, and then formulate a negative opinion about something else.

another thing, if you have played WoW and have not played GW, then say some lame-brain thing like "LAWL WOW TOTELLIE PWNXORZ GW". then you need to Shut the **** up.

Thanks XD. Altough I like WoW as well as Guild Wars. I'm just one of those persons to "play em all".

Every game has it's +side and -side. So no game is perfect. Nice post anyway :P

Actually, a lot of kids DO play GW - some for and others not for that reason - but the majority are mature enough anyway and don't give you any hassle, so it's not really an argument for either side.

What I think the point of that was, was that there are those that would claim that that is the only reason people play Guild Wars, but such an argument is foolish, and the assumption that that is the reason could very easily be a false one.

Enuff said. But lately Anet has been trying out some kind of "beta testing" and nerfed some builds. So sad. But I completely agree with you although lately more "rude" people joined and call other people "noob" for being stupid or lame.
