It is with much sadness today we announce our intention to close the North American Gunbound game servers operated by NHN USA inc. and transfer Data Base to the Developer, Softnyx.
Our license for Gunbound is due to expire shortly and unfortunately, we have decided not to renew the contract in order to make room for some newer and highly anticipated titles.
This means that NHN USA will no longer have the right to operate the service in the North American territory it currently provides service in and therefore we are obliged to shut down all associated game services before the license expires.
Important Dates:
The last full day of service will be July 23, 2009. All Gunbound North American servers will shut down on the morning of Monday, July 24, 2009 12:00 AM Pacific Time
The purchase of durational items is now no longer available to ensure all players have the opportunity to use up their items. Be sure to use up all your expandable items for they will expire July 23, 2009.
What happens to your account?
Gunbound account holders will have the option to migrate their account to the new publisher and continue their service with them. All stats and characters will transfer over and you will be able to continue playing Gunbound like nothing has changed! If you decide against the migration of your account, there will be a refund policy. For further information, please see our Gunbound Closing FAQ’s in the forums. Although you choose now to migrate or not, MIGRATION OR CANCELLATION OF ACCOUNT AND SERVICE WILL NOT TAKE PLACE UNTIL JULY 24, 2009 12AM Pacific Time.

no they shut down because they know gbna was going down hill and they were banning people for no reason they banned me and i didn't even use gbna hacks i got caught a meesly one time in gold hack room reported and terminated -.- thing is i had just bought 70$ gcoins and i only got 2k gold from hack room....
NHN USA will terminate the direct operation of Gunbound services as of July 23, 2009. The original developer [Softnyx] will continue to provide the game’s service. Only those players who elect to consent the transfer of billing and game play data, with respect to his/her Gunbound account, will be able to continue enjoying the Gunbound service. Please check the box below to accept the transfer to Softnyx 's Gunbound service before July 23, 2009 to ensure transferability.
If you DO NOT wish to transfer to the Softnyx service and would like a prorated refund for the premium items in your character's possession, DO NOT check the box below! Instead, send an email to [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] with the subject line: "Gunbound Transfer Opt-Out: [Account Name]," where [Account Name] is the ijji.com account name opting out of the transfer. By accepting this refund, you agree NOT to attempt the transfer of any characters or items from the account on ijji.com's service to Softnyx. You will not receive the full G Coin amount for the limited items on the account, but a portion thereof according the items’ time possessed (Less than 2 months = 100%, 2 to 6 months = 50%, 6 to 10 months = 25%, 10+ months = NO refund) and with a subtracted 20% fee from the Payment Gateway refund cost. The refund amount must be over 10 G Coin in order to be eligible for a refund. After an account has received a refund, the Gunbound items will never be able to be used on any service in the future. Please note that this process cannot be reversed.
