Assistance with CE and CT use Needed :)

I am trying to use MoonLightEngine and a CT I was given to use on Gunbound, with two computers. The directions say to put the three files, one including nyxlauncher, into the gunbound rev folder. I do all those steps, and then open cheat engine, put CT into it. I am unable to tick any cheats, not sure why. I open gunbound, and gunbound rev freezes or doesnt load properly.

I am using Windows Vista, could this be why?

Or do I need to load gunbound on other computer first with those same files in gunbound?
