Slice problem

Actually, i don't know why is this happening, but i always slice, and it's kinda "lagged" if we can call that lag. It's like sometimes it goes from lets say 1.2 to 1.4 and i miss, i gotta be really careful, and i don't think it's a computer problem, actually my computer has a 2.0Ghz 1GB ram (2x Kingston 512MB), a GeForce 6200 (256MB) and my HD is 80GB.

Anybody knows what can be causing this? Because for example, i have to do the same stupid shot, and it just passes and i miss, i'm getting really tired.

Ok, thanks for reading :)

C'yaz :D

EDIT: I have a 2.5Mbps connection.

Re: Slice problem

What do you mean with "how do i use slice?". Are there another ways to use the slice? I mean, i just press the space bar and drop it when i reach the power desired (but thanks to this bloody problem, sometimes i miss the DESIRED POWER).

I don't get your question :/

Re: Slice problem

What ports are the ports that Gunbound revolution uses? So i can open them in the router, maybe that can fix the problem, but i don't think that's the problem, my friend plays in a laptop (we are in lan via wireless), and he doesn't have the same problem :/

Anyways, i'll try with the ports if someone knows the ports that gb rev. uses.

PS: I'm not on wireless, he is.

Re: Slice problem

Do you by any chance use a wireless keyboard? I noticed this problem on my laptop when i tired using a wireless keyboard, it lags just a tad behind(it might have just been my keyboard though..lol)

if this is so try a non-wireless keyboard and see if that helps

Re: Slice problem

Actually, i dont think it's a lag problem lets say i play at 5am (when i come back from work :P)... my connection is 2.5Mbps, aint THAAAT FAST, but it's good. I dont have any wireless thing in here, not keyboard, not internet, all connected.

But can be the server lagging altho, but i think i can fix that if i just open the GB Rev. ports right? Now the question is, what are the ports thtat GB Rev uses?

Thanks for your replies guys.

Re: Slice problem

Use drag, it's more practical. It's smooth and faster.
