Private Server Agent Error

Long Story Coming Up

Recently, I have become determined to make a Private Server and I have had to face one problem after another ... but the biggest problem was after I had created the server and had added 2 accounts, one for myself and another for a friend of mine, We both logged in and tried to play a game, however we kept on getting the "Agent Error: Agent not found".

Info: I'm currently behind a router and I have tried to use port forwarding, and DMZ'ing my computer and disabling the firewall, router : WRT54GS, I have also tried to log in using another computer in the network with no avail...

I would very much appreciate it if anyone would help me with the matter.

I hope people are willing to help me If nt I might ave to giv up

You're both using the same IP to try and fight each other, which will obviously not work. You need to be on one IP and your friend needs to be on another.

Ijji Gunz is different, because they can use the NAT configuration so that eliminates several Agent Error issues. I know this because I was able to power level using the same IP address for both computers.

Thanks for the reply, however we are not using the same ip address, I have just tried a direct connection to see if the problem was within the router, but the result remained the same

I see. I've tried to set-up a server myself and had problems connecting just to the server itself. Are you using Local Host? (127.0.0.1) or your own IP Address?

I am currently using localhost instead of my ip, I just got the july version of Match Server and tried to use Match Agent which I did not have previously, but i can't connect to this version of the Match Server no matter what setting I put in, and when i try to use the older version, Match Agent closes itself when i log in to the client. :(

Well, I know now that I used to get Agent Error before because I didn't use MatchAgent, but nw I can't even connect to my server. If only someone here could tell me what exact settings I would have to use for my Server's "server.ini" behind a router, only then would I actually be able to find out if it works. I want to make a server so badly

If anyone here was successful in making a server please tell me how I should proceed.

Lol i did that you turn off all your firewall even your program's firewalls to play a pserver of gunz im not joking....

No, I don't turn off my firewall to play on any private server for Gunz. I just add it to my exception list and it works perfectly fine. His problem is different.

However, tell your friend to try to disable his firewall and then try to join.
