| Registered User | Help with wireless internet can anyone please tell me how i can play gunz without lagging on wireless internet? its annoying when every server i go to ppl have that d/c thing on their head,and i always get voted to be kicked :(. help please! |

| Registered User | Re: Help with wireless internet well thats really simple.... u have really really crappy connection! u r prolly using a cheap uknown connection provider and if not (using telstra ect.) u may have over used download limit so ur provider has cut down ur internet connection to minimum orrrrr norton antivirus can contribute to this because norton chews up so much of ur data it annoys the hell out of me so delete it like i did. my point is there is nuthing u can do about it apart from get a better comp and service provider. |

| Retired Staff Member | Re: Help with wireless internet You can just ignore that, but it is what it is. You are not protected from incoming connections that may affect your computer. I am never scared whenever I do stuff that 'requires' me to turn off my firewall but you might be. Also, Windows has a firewall in itself. You may want ot see if that one is off as that effects a lot of stuff with programs at times as well. To check it, just go to your Control Panel - Security Center. From there, you pretty much know.. |
